Summary[]
Kalrynne’s father insists he find a bride. His younger sister sets out and seeks Cameron’s advice. Samoan, Cameron and Waysina meet Kalrynne's parents. His mother begins to tell Samoan a story about her two sons, before long however Kalrynne interrupts. Samoan doesn't find out about Kay9 being the second son. Back at school Narissa, Phianna and Lucy, and later Samoan learn ballroom dancing. Samoan begins to have her own suspicions about Dmitri and confides in Kalrynne, he however, is reluctant to answer her questions. Travelling from one planet to another, Kalrynne's mother has requested that young women old enough to be married be brought before her son, to come and prove with a series of tests who is worthy to be his wife. Eventually the news reaches Charter Academy, and having been selected along with many of Star Elite who are honored to be taking part, Samoan, through disgust attempts to fail every test on purpose because of the ridiculous scheme. Kalrynne's mother is not fooled however and talks to her about her sons past. Verity and Earrius are introduced as escorts for Princess Thamasin (a vampire princess from an unregistered planet). She is frequently mentioned throughout the episode until she makes her entrance and believes Samoan to be her greatest rival in securing her spot for marriage. Thamasin requests to remain at Charter Academy when she reveals that she was overthrown on her homeworld years ago and wished to reclaim her status through marriage, she apologises to Samoan for any rash behavior. Nirveen speaks with her second son and tells him if he doesn't claim Samoan, Lucias will force Kalrynne to do so as Samoan is a strong Tamer and a proven leader, a perfect ruler at Kalrynne's side. She tells Dmitri that she favours his people over the vampires and wishes for them to rein.
